Description Lysozyme is an antibacterial agent and a hydrolase enzyme that destroys bacterial cell walls. During inflammatory diseases of the throat, the body's natural lysozyme is insufficient. When slowly dissolved, this supplement significantly increases the amount of lysozyme acting on the mucous membrane of the throat and mouth, reduces the number of pathogenic bacteria, and helps alleviate the symptoms of acute upper respiratory tract infections, stomatitis, gingivitis, and mucosal erosions.
